In short
If you contact us, we use your name, email and message to answer you and, if you wish, to prepare your consultation. Our web host keeps standard server logs for security, and we count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies. We do not use cookies or advertising trackers, we do not sell or share your data for marketing, and you can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete what we hold about you — email info@usgoeu.com.
Section 1
Who Is Responsible for Your Data
The data controller for usgoeu.com is US GO EU Team Europe, Luruper Hauptstraße 107a – 2, 22547 Hamburg, Germany. For any privacy question or request, email info@usgoeu.com.
We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, because the small amount of data we process does not require one under the GDPR.

Section 5
Transfers Outside Europe
Our web host and Cloudflare may process data on servers in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. Where personal data leaves the EEA, we rely on the safeguards the GDPR allows, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Section 6
How Long We Keep It
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that do not lead to a service | As long as needed to answer and follow up, then deleted |
| Client files | For the duration of the service and as long as the law requires afterwards (for example for accounting) |
| Server logs | A limited period for security and troubleshooting, set by our web host |
| LocalVouch listings and reviews | As long as they are published on LocalVouch; ask us at any time to remove your listing, review or name |
Section 7
Your Rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
See your data
Get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correct it
Fix anything inaccurate or incomplete.
Delete it
Have your data erased when we no longer need it or have no legal reason to keep it.
Restrict or object
Limit how we use your data, or object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
Take it with you
Receive the data you gave us in a common, machine-readable format.
Email info@usgoeu.com. We reply within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or work, or where the issue occurred — for us the competent authority is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (HmbBfDI). If you live outside the EU, we handle your request in the same way.
Section 8
Children
The website is meant for adults planning a move. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16; if you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Section 9
Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy when the way we handle data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Questions: info@usgoeu.com.
