In short
US GO EU helps Americans — and other non-EU citizens — move to Europe. Behind the site is a team of EU immigration lawyers, cross-border accountants, immigration consultants and expats, with more than 20 years of collective experience, and every advisor on the team has personally relocated from the US to Europe. Our guides cover 29 countries, and every figure on them comes from an official source that we name and date. When you are ready, a free 30-minute consultation turns the guides into a plan for your situation.
Our Mission
Guidance First, Not a Sales Pitch
You are here to be served, not sold to. Our job is to give you clear, accurate and practical information, so you can make a confident decision about your future — with no surprises later.
“Clients don’t choose us because of what we do; they choose us because of why we do it.”
The Team Behind US GO EU
Specialists Who Have Done It Themselves

Cross-border accountants
US expat tax obligations (FBAR, FATCA, the foreign earned income exclusion) and what becoming tax resident in Europe means for you.
Immigration consultants
Digital nomad, golden visa, retirement, startup and EU Blue Card routes — which one fits and how to apply.
Experienced expats
People who have relocated from the US to Europe and know the real challenges — not just the theory.
Our Editorial Standards
How We Research and Update
Immigration rules, tax rates and prices change often, so every page on this site is built from fact registers rather than written from memory.
One source for every fact
Each figure — an income requirement, a fee, a tax rate, a rent — is stored once with the official source it comes from (a government site, a law, an official statistics office) and the date we checked it. The same fact appears identically on every page that uses it.
Sources on the page
Key facts tables link to their sources, and each page shows the date its facts were last verified.
Estimates are labelled
Where no official figure exists — rents and everyday costs, for example — we use the best available data and mark the figure as an estimate.
Unverified claims are removed
If we cannot confirm something from a reliable source, it does not go on the site.
Corrections
Found something out of date? Email info@usgoeu.com and we will check it against the source and correct the page.
Our guides explain the rules in general. They are not legal, tax or financial advice for your situation — see our Terms of Use.
Why Clients Choose Us
How We Work With You
We start with why
Retiring in the sun, working remotely, investing, starting a business or giving your family a different life — we listen to your goals first and tailor the guidance to them.
Honest about risks
We tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear — realistic timelines, real costs and the downsides of each option.
You stay in control
We give you the knowledge to make your own decision. Where a step needs a licensed professional, we tell you and coordinate with one.
In it for the long run
Immigration laws and tax rules keep changing. We aim to build long-term relationships and stay with you from the first question to a settled life.
